How We Work

Our Process

Six steps from first conversation to a senior team shipping in your codebase. Designed for founders who don't have time for staffing-agency theater.

01
Discovery
We start with a working session to understand your business goals, current state, and the bottleneck the engineering work is meant to unlock. If we're not the right partner for the job, we tell you — and point you somewhere that is.
02
Scoping
We translate the goal into a concrete scope: deliverables, milestones, technical constraints, success metrics. You get a written scope of work before any code or team commitments — fixed-scope or milestone-based, depending on the engagement.
03
Team Assembly
We hand-pick senior engineers and a tech lead for your specific scope — typically two to four contributors who fit the work. No bench-warmers, no junior bait-and-switch.
04
Kickoff
Within one to two weeks of signed scope, your team is in your tools, your codebase, and your standups. We align on rituals, escalation paths, and the first sprint goal in an explicit kickoff session.
05
Delivery
Short sprints, frequent demos, a single point of contact for status. You get the same visibility into our team's progress as you have into your in-house team — and an AI-first workflow that compresses iteration cycles without compromising quality.
06
Scale or Handoff
Engagements end one of two ways: we scale up — more engineers, broader scope — or we hand off cleanly to your in-house team with documentation and knowledge transfer. No lock-in either way.

What This Process Is Not

Not a staffing agency. You aren't buying a resume — you're hiring an embedded team that owns outcomes alongside you.

Not a black box. You're in our standups, our PRs, and our planning. Same visibility as your in-house team.

Not a long-term lock-in. Scope is bounded, handoff is documented. We earn the next engagement, we don't inherit it.
